In 2007, the vision became a reality as Beaches at Vilano opened its doors to the public. From its inception, the establishment thrived on values of authenticity, exceptional service, and a deep respect for the natural surroundings. Nestled along the Tolomato River, our river front restaurant features outdoor and indoor dining with enough space to accommodate large groups, live music, and boat dock and jet ski parking. Jason has been with Beaches just over a year. He hails from Brooklyn, NY. His love of cooking started at age seven. While camping with his cousin who is a Chef, he left him in charge of preparing breakfast. At that moment he knew cooking was his calling. He graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and worked under Wolfgang Puck in three restaurants. He then traveled all over the country with him opening several others. His favorite ingredient to use in dishes is garlic. He enjoys Italian and Mexican cuisines, however he has embraced creating Caribbean dishes here at Beaches. In his off time he stays busy with his four kids. We are honored to have Chef Jason as part of the Beaches Team.
